Back from Paris.
The release from responsibility was so sweet that I've decided to extend it in whatever way I can. I'm taking a sabbatical from direct blogging duties.
I'll continue to comment but, with thanks for the opportunity, will step back from an active role for the time being.

Those who know Tulk at all well may find it hard to believe that he will be able to resist, for long, the urge to grace us with his opinions.
I don't know what else to say. "It's been real?"
If you accept that pontificating half the time within a persona and half the time outside it (and always anonymously) is "real", then it's been real...
An eternal issue in aesthetics: how does something fake (fictional) tell the truth?
