Vincent Price as Prince Prospero in Roger Corman's "The Masque of the Red Death" (1964)
Vincent Price is "surprisingly" great?!"Surprisingly"?!Seriously?!The Corman/Price Poe adaptations are wonderful horror experiments. For one to find them surprising is incredible.
II like all the Poe films, but this one rises to another level, and so does Price. Must we spell it out? Doesn't the picture sorta say it?
