Some people are way too self-conscious about admitting that they enjoy things that vast numbers of other people also enjoy. Fart jokes, cat videos. There is probably a word for this syndrome. If not, we should invent one.
Here in Maine, my parents' two new cats, Sophie and Tilly, both plump and friendly, lie face to face on the bed I'm using in the guest room, grooming each other. If I had a photo, I would post it.
