Balaclava time

For some reason the term "cos-play" springs to mind. The trailer has a soft core naughty-anime dimension that will likely repel as many people as it attracts. I can't imagine walking into a theater playing this without wearing a ski mask. Thank God for DVDs. C.I.: Cinerati.

Much less conflicted about this one, a film that really seems to understand why 3-D was invented.

Haha, I said pretty much the same thing after seeing the RE:A trailer on the big screen...

Dr. Terror's 3D House of Babes with Swords......

Do you recommend, as a general matter, the Resident Evil movies?

Most films of this type make a good trailer, then fail to deliver. The REs have decent follow through. Satisfying junk food, if you're not above that sort of thing.

An army of Milla Jovovich clones versus zombies, assorted B-movie beasties and MATRIX leftovers? All in honest-to-goodness 3D, not the cheapjack conversion nightmares that have graced too many cinema screens of late? What's not to like (he said with perhaps too much generosity)?
