Heaviness as such has never been a major selling point, for me. Especially because with heaviness, too often, comes ponderous self-importance.

It's hard to describe Converge as much of anything other than loud and fast. I think that's the appeal.

For me a clear case of something that's way more fun to talk about than experience. Not unlike Jess Franco movies.
